Support important functional skills for our Youths in Zanzibar
At COZ Foundation, we believe that orphan and disadvantaged youths going into adulthood need functional life skills which gives them personal development and a higher chance of future success. It is important for them to learn crucial skills and knowledge that go beyond academic education, empowering them to navigate the challenges of adulthood and become self-sufficient, responsible members of society. We run frequent workshops for disadvantaged orphans between the ages of 15 - 19. By participating in these workshops, the youth gain practical skills such as financial literacy, problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, decision-making, and time management.
These skills are invaluable in helping them make informed choices, set and achieve goals, handle personal finances, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing circumstances. Functional life skill workshops also foster personal growth, boost self-confidence, and encourage a sense of responsibility and accountability. We cover topics such as entrepreneurship, leadership, health and hygiene, personal finance, and career guidance. We also engage professionals, experts, and volunteers to share their knowledge and experiences with the youths. Your donations aid different types of programmes and workshops such as the following:
Work Experience Opportunities
Entrepreneurship Programmes
Mentorship & Coaching Training by Industry Experts
Seminars on Functional Topics
Skill/Technical Workshops
Youth Empowerment Programs
Language Learning Opportunities
Partnerships and Collaborations
By investing in our youths, we are nurturing a generation of empowered individuals who can contribute positively to their families, communities, and the overall development of Tanzania and Zanzibar.
